Russian regions adopt positive experience of St. Petersburg in implementation of e-Government program

The Government of St. Petersburg and exactly the Committee on IT and Communications and its subordinate enterprises put their common efforts to set the concept and elements of e-Government in St. Petersburg. Primarily, it is directed to improve public service provision and optimize the internal work of executive public authorities of
St. Petersburg.

November, 28 St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center has welcome a delegation from Altai region. The visit was devoted to implementation program of information and analytical system Situational Center of Altai Region.

 

In November, 2011, the Committee on IT and Communications in cooperation with St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center has developed and presented a project plan for information and analytical system Situational Center of Altai Region. The system is implemented within the Agreement of the Government of St. Petersburg and Altai Region “On trade, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation”. It is commited to integrate information resources of the region, ensure authorized access to official data and facilitate information exchange between public institutions and services.

Development of situational centers in the regions of Russia has become possible due to successful realization of pilot project of the Situational Center of St. Petersburg, considered to be one of the best regional situational centers of Russia. It has introduced modern information technologies, new organization regulations into city management. Since 2010, the Situational Center of St. Petersburg has shared its knowledge and experience with more than 30 delegations from various regions of Russia.
