In the framework of the "Open Smolny" Ivan Gromov met with students

On April 16 Smolny hosted an event for students "Open Smolny" - a one-day training for students of higher educational institutions of our city who are thinking about civil service career.

448 students applied for this event, and only 16 were selected.
Objective of the project "Open Smolny" is to talk about the work of the city administration, committees and enable talented young people to get acquainted with the work of the executive branch.

The students had quite busy schedule, which included the introduction to the Committee on IT and Communications. Meeting was conducted by the Chairman of the Committee Ivan Gromov.

He spoke about the Committee's competence and introduced modern technology used by the authorities of the city, automation functions and other tasks related to safety of life of St. Petersburg.

The meeting took place in the Situation Centre (SC), which became the main hub of information interaction.It introduces the new information technologies in urban management practices, meetings are held to ensure the safety of large urban events.

Besides that, Ivan Gromov mentioned the subject of public services. As it turned out, almost all participants applied to multifunctional centers to receive public and municipal services. To date, for the residents of St. Petersburg more than 300 public services are provided by the principle of "one window".

Chairman of the Committee also told the students about the future of public services: "Our next goal is the ability to receive services without the need to apply to the multifunctional center, is one of the most important tasks of the Committee, in terms of the development of these services."
