Integrated system of population register of St. Petersburg

Integrated system of population register of St. Petersburg is developed to collect, transmit, store and present information on population register in St. Petersburg to all responsible and executive authorities of St. Petersburg.

The key element of the system is Portal on Population Register. It is developed to create common information infrastructure of Population Register of St. Petersburg that facilitates implementation of functions of local population register, replacement and issue of Russian national passports, provision of executive authorities of St. Petersburg with relevant information on the Population Register of the city.    

Main tasks of Portal

  • Portal supports transmission of preliminary and verified data on population register as well as information on replaced and issued Russian national passports between authorities  responsible for registration of citizens and Department of Federal Migration Service of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region;
  • Portal provides information on population register to executive public authorities of St. Petersburg.   

The interaction between Portal on Population Register and other computer systems is carried out by means of System of information interaction between executive public authorities of St. Petersburg.

Integrated system of population register of St. Petersburg is aimed to improve quality of management decisions due to provision of updated and precise information about local population to the relevant executive public authorities of
St. Petersburg. It is also aimed to increase efficiency of population service system provided by executive public authorities and other responsible organizations.
